EASY Slimming World French Toast

EASY Slimming World French Toast
1/2 SYN / Serves 4

You will need - 
4 Eggs
2 Tsp Cinnamon
2 (level) Tsp Sweetener
120ml Skimmed Milk
8 Slices of Wholemeal Bread (2 bits per portion)
Toppings - I used:
2 Tbsp Fat free Natural Yogurt
2 Tbsp Berries

How to - 
Put eggs, Cinnamon, Milk, Sweetener into a bowl and mix.
In a warming pan, spray some frylight.
*You will have to do this in smaller batches. 
Cover both sides of your slices of bread with your eggy/cinnamon mixture.
Once covered, put the pieces into the pan.
Cook each sides of the break for 2-3 minutes until brown.
Once both sides cooked and browned, its time to serve.
Cut each slice in to 2 triangles.
Put onto a place and serve with whatever toppings you like.

EASY Slimming World Chicken Noodle Soup



EASY Slimming World Chicken Noodle Soup 
SYN FREE and Serves 4+

This is super quick to make, great to batch cook, portion up and freeze, and amazing as a winter warmer or something yum if you feeling under the weather.

You need - 
2 Spring Onions - cut fine
2 Carrots - cut into chunks
2 Chicken Stock Pots
800-1000ml Boiling Water
1 Cup Mushrooms - sliced fine
50g Vermicelli Noodles
1 Cooked Chicken Breast - cut into small chunks
1 Cup Sweetcorn
1 Tsp All Purpose Seasoning


How to - 
Make up your stock with the stock pots and water
Put stock, and EVERYTHING else in the pan.
Bring to the boil and simmer for 5-10
Put into a bowl and enjoy!
* If putting in the freezer - allow to totally cool, portion up and freeze!

EASY Slimming World BBQ Chicken - 1/2 Syn


EASY Slimming World BBQ Chicken 

Serves 4 - under 1/2 syn each.

You will need - 
1/2 tsp Celery Salt
1/2 Tsp Crushed Garlic
3 Tsp BBQ Seasoning
1 Tsp Chilli powder
1 Tsp Honey
1 Tbsp Worcestershire Sauce
1 Tbsp Dark Soy
1 Tbsp Passata
Pepper
2x Chicken Breasts
1 Tsp Liquid Smoke

I found this recipe in a SW cook book (Meals for 1), but again didn't have the exact stuff, and added some liquid smoke for a more smokey favour and I used Chicken breasts not thighs like the book.

I have joined Slimming world.... again.
I did really well on this originally but have been off it for a while.
While making my evening meals SW friendly (most of the time) anything else was not.
Its time to get organised and back on the waggon!
I have at least 3 stone to loose so better get cracking!

EASY Slimming World Cheese Twists - LOW SYN
Makes 36 - 1.5 Syn each



EASY Slimming World Cheese Twists - LOW SYN Makes 36 - 1.5 Syn each

Click Here to watch my youtube video on how I made them.  You need - 1 Roll fo Light Puff 20g Grated Parmesan 1 Tsp Mustard Powder 1 Egg 2 Tsp Water Salt + Pepper

How to - 
Roll out the puff
Mix mustard powder and water in a bowl
With a pastry brush cover one side fo your pastry
Sprinkle on salt and pepper
Cover with grated parmesan
Fold in half
Cut into 3rds
Cut each 3rd in half
Cut each half in half
take off paper and twist
Put on baking Sheet
Crack egg in bowl and whisk
Cover each cheese twist with egg using a pastry brush
put in over (180 degrees) for 20 mins
Serve and enjoy!

EASY Slimming World Buffalo Boats - 0.5 SYN
Serves 4 - 0.5 Syns a serving

You will need -
4 sweet potatoes
5 spring onions
75g fat free Quark
20g reduced fat cheddar
15g Parmesan
3 Tbsp Franks Buffalo Hot Sauce

How to -

Prick the skins of the potatoes and cook for 35-45 mins
Cut up spring onions.
Once cooked cut in half (length ways) and scoop out potato
Put potato in a bowl and mash
Add spring onion, cheddar, quark and franks and Mix well
Spoon mixture back into the potato skins
Sprinkle on Parmesan and put back into the oven.
Cook for 15-20 mins until Parmesan is melted.
Serve and Enjoy.

SYN FREE (HEA+B)
SERVES 4 



EASY Slimming World Baked Halloumi Bites -  SYN FREE (HEA+B)

You need-  
180g Low fat Halloumi
1 Tsp Peri Peri Seasoning
1 Spring Onion
40g Wholemeal Bread Roll - into Breadcrumbs

To see how I made my Breadcrumbs - click here

How To -

Cut up the Halloumi into 16 1cm thick slices
Cut up the spring onion into small bits
crack and whist your egg in a bowl
Sprinkle your breadcrumbs on a plate and mix peri peri seasoning in
With one hand dip halloumi in egg and fully coat it
Then put to the halloumi chunk onto the breadcrumbs and with the other hand coat in breadcrumbs
Once coated put on a baking sheet.
Cover all 16 slices.
put into a low ovel (70 degrees) for 10-15 minutes - until crumbs go golden brown.
Take out, plate up and sprinkle on spring onion.
Enjoy!

EASY Slimming World Jelly Sweets - LOW SYN

Serves 1-4
3 Syns for the whole batch

You will need - 
2 Sachets of Jelly Crystals - Sugar Free
2 Packets of Powdered Gelatine
1 Muller Light
1/2 Pint Boiling Water
Small Jelly Molds or Ice Cube Trays


Dissolve the Jelly crystals in the boiling water
Add the Gelatine packets and mix until totally dissolved
fill ice cube trays with 2/3's of your mixture
put into the fridge to firm up (10/15 mins)
Add muller light to remaining jelly mixture + mix
Take out ice cube trays out of fridge
Add remaining 1/3'rd of mixture (containing muller light)  to the top of the alreayd set jelly cubes.
Set in Fridge for 15+ mins
One fully set - Pop out the molds and enjoy!

Easy Slimming World Chicken Base Pizza - Serves 2 - Syn free.
A good way to use up some of your Healthy Extra A (HEA)

You will need:
2 Chicken Breasts
2 Tbsp Tomato Puree
1/2 Tsp Origano
1 Shallot - Finely Chopped
1/2 Yellow Pepper
40g Reduced Fat Cheddar (HEA)
2 Mushrooms

Instructions:
  • Put Chicken between 2 bits of cling film and with a rolling-pin flatten each breast out.
  • Once flat put the chicken onto a baking sheet and cover each ones with a Tbsp of Tomato Puree.
  • Sprinkle on some origin on to each chicken breast and cover each ones with 1/4 of your cheese.
  • Now cover each bit of chicken with your chosen toppings and add your remaining cheese.
  • Put in a 200 degree oven (gas mark 6) for 10 minutes (or until the chicken is cooked).
  • Take out and serve.

EASY Slimming World Halloumi Fries - LOW SYN - Serves 4
A good way to use up some of your Healthy Extra A (HEA)

You need:
180g Reduced Fat Halloumi
2 Tbsp CornFlour OR Cornstarch
2 Tsp Peri Peri Seasoning
Friy Light
Spring Onion - chopped Thinly

Instructions:

Cut the Halloumi into thin strips - I cut 16 out of 180g
Pat Halloumi strips dry 
Mix Cornflour and Seasoning together
Put each strip into the cornflour mix and cover entirely.
Spray Fry light i to LOW HEAT pan
All all the Halloumi strips to the pan and cook on low for 15 minutes turning every few minutes until golden.
Once Golden - Serve and sprinkle on the Spring onion.
Remember to syn dips if you are using them as a side.

For this you will need - Cauliflower
1 Cauliflower
1 tsp smoked paprika
1 tsp garlic
1 tsp onion
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp pepper
2 spring onions

You Need - The Sauce:
1/2 tsp chilli powder
2 tsp garlic
1 tbsp tom puree
3 tbsp white rice vinegar
1/2 lime
1/2 tsp sweetener
4 tbsp 0% greek yogurt
Drops of Sriracha

Super easy and quick recipe.
This can be used as a side, sharing plate or a great starter.
